Boots Haul

I needed to top up on some of my basic products recently, so I popped into Boots and couldn't help but buy some extras too!

Firstly I will start with what I consider to be basics.....

Deodorant - Sure Women Maximum Protection Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Cream in Clean Fresh  is my go to deodorant pretty much all year round. It smells rather neutral in comparison to a lot of deodorants, the majority either give me a headache or make me feel sick!

Dry shampoo - Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo Mega Instant is something I haven't seen before so I thought I would give it a go. I wish I hadn't wasted my money! There is nothing 'dry' about this product, it comes out as a liquid rather than a sort of powder that you expect. It didn't make my hair feel any cleaner or less oily, more the opposite in fact! I was really disappointed as my experience with other Aussie products has been great. Back to Dove and Batisse I go!

Foundation - Revlon ColorStay Foundation for Combination/Oily Skin in 150 Buff is my go to foundation. After running out of this I dabbled with a few others but I was left craving this. It gives me the buildable coverage I desire, whilst having a rather large shade range for a high street foundation. After a long day at work it doesn't seem to separate as much in my oily areas as other foundations do. The only downside to this foundation is the fact it has no pump, so when pouring it out of the bottle you have to pay attention to how much you are pouring out otherwise you end up wasting the product. I'll be repurchasing this again and again.

Concealer - Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer is talked about all over beauty blogs and Youtube. It gives great coverage and lasts much longer than most of the other concealers I've tried. I use the shade Fair 1 and find that I can use this as a highlighting concealer as well as for covering blemishes/spots.

Recently my lashes haven't been turning out the way I want them to when I apply mascara I decided to give Seventeen Falsifeye HD Mascara in blackest black a go as it has the brush I was looking for. So far I've been enjoying using this mascara but I think I'll still be on the look out for something else - Let me know what mascara you recommend!

And finally I decided to get three of the Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Automatic Eye Definers. Three might sound slightly excessive but I've been loving the pop of blue on the waterline/under the bottom lashes that I've seen lately. Also I'm forever trying to find a waterproof eyeliner that is actually waterproof and doesn't smudge or disappear!

So I decided to pick up 240 Aqua Sparkle, 261 Noir and 250 Emerald Sparkle. I haven't tested the blue and green out properly yet but from what you can see from the swatches, they have a great colour pay off.

I have worn the black on several occasions and I can tell you that it is actually waterproof! It doesn't smudge or disappear on me. I can wear it for a full day and when I go to remove my make up it's still pretty much all there on my waterline - bonus!

Also a few other great things about these eyeliners is that they have a retractable nib, no more eyeliner nibs snapping! And on the other end you have a smudging brush and a plastic sharpener which you can use if the nib gets slightly blunt and because they aren't wooden pencils the nib doesn't break like pencils do when sharpening!

Have you tried any of these products? Comment below and share your thoughts :)
Also if you want a more in depth review about any of the products mentioned above, let me know!

Thanks for reading.
