Tesco Beauty Haul

I nipped into Tesco a few weeks ago and couldn't resist buying a few things!

Maybelline's Color Tattoo 24hr cream eyeshadow in Permanent Taupe is something I've had my eye on for a while now. (No pun intended!) I'm constantly on the search for that perfect nude eyeshadow, where you don't look as if you have put any effort into your eye make up.

This colour is a mixture of brown and grey, which I think is ideal for just swiping across the eyelids on days where you want some colour but to keep it neutral as it is matte.
I really like the consistency of these as they have a great colour pay off with a blendable texture which then sets and lasts all day. And a plus point is that they don't crease on me!

I've also been looking for a good bronzer that I can use for contouring. As I am quite pale, I often find it hard to find a bronzer that doesn't look orange on me.

This Sleek Face Form Contouring & Blush Palette in Light is definitely a good colour match for me, as the bronzer is more brown in tone rather than orange/red. The palette also comes with a highlighter and a blush which is a bonus considering the price!

Max Factor Colour Elixir lipstick in Bewitching Coral is a first for me when is comes to coral colour lipsticks. I'm normally a fan of nudes and pinks, but for some reason when I swatched this in store I couldn't help but pop it in my basket.

Bewitching Coral is the perfect blend of red & pink with a slight hint of orange, which I think suits my skin tone best as orange mixed with my skin colour is not a good look! I think it's a perfect summer coral - I know it's now September, but the sun is still shining!

I am a sucker for books. So when I saw the 2 for £7 stickers I went routing for books that interested me.

The first one I picked up was It Felt Like A Kiss by Sarra Manning. When I was a teenager I read a number of Sarra's books, including the Diary Of A Crush series & Pretty Things.
This book is about a girl named Ellie who is living her dream life, her father is a famous rock star but all of a sudden her world falls apart when her ex sells a story on her to the newspapers. This is when a handsome man named David appears to handle the backlash from the media and the story develops from there....
However I haven't got round to reading it yet, I'm hoping I enjoy it as much as the others I've read by Sarra.

Next is Just A Girl, Standing In Front of A Boy by Lucy-Anne Holmes. As you might be able to tell, I rather like romantic novels!

Holmes is a new author to me, I love to discover new writers!
This book is based on a girl called Jenny, who has all the things in her life worked out, thanks to the lists she writes on a daily basis. But then her life is turned upside down as she meets Joe King, an aspiring musician just as her boyfriend Matt proposes to her. It's a modern love story which I'm sure will have plenty of ups and downs.

Finally I just picked up two simple notebooks. One for work and one for personal use.
I love to write lists, whether they are lists about products I want, TV shows & films I want to watch, potential blog posts and just general notes. Plus I just really like stationary!

So that is everything I bought from Tesco. If you have any books that you could recommend to me I would love to know!

Also if you want individual reviews of the make up products, just let me know.

Thank you for reading :)
